What we collect

When you submit an enquiry form we collect your name, telephone number, email address, site postcode, the service you selected and anything you write in the message field. We also record the page the enquiry came from. If you use the live chat, the chat provider collects the information you type into it.

Why we collect it

To respond to your enquiry, arrange a survey, produce a quotation and carry out work if you ask us to. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to an enquiry you have chosen to send, and, where a contract follows, performance of that contract.

Who we share it with

Form submissions are processed by Web3Forms, which passes the message to our inbox. Live chat is provided by Tawk.to. Website analytics are provided by Google Analytics. Where work is carried out by a specialist subcontractor, we share only what is needed to complete it. We do not sell your data and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept for up to 24 months. Records relating to completed work are kept for six years, which is the period during which a claim could be brought.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us processing it. Email the address above and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to understand how pages are used, and the live chat widget sets a cookie so a conversation can continue across pages. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are set by us. You can block cookies in your browser without losing access to any part of the site.
